Long weekend. After mowing the lawn and other must do items that needed to be done before we leave, we worked on the unit. Got the TV set up in the bedroom and connected. It comes in better than our TV in the house. Put together and installed a carry all rack on the back. Good for wood, grill and other stuff to big for inside camper. Loaded all the tools the rig can carry ( just in case ) Installed the XM radio kit I got for fathers day. It sounds good. We won't miss a Red Sox game. Cleaned all roof vents. Cleaned and vacuumed the camper. Washed it. Long brush and a pressure washer is handy. I have never washed our cars in the driveway. Sue made a trip to Sams club for food, a few games, videos, chairs, and final essentials. We sat in the camper listening to the Sox. I played Sue in cribbage and beat her. First of many victories I will have in the unit.
Clothes are ready to be put in the unit. The final packing events have begun. I need to fill with water and should be ready to go. Thursday morning I will drop Sue off at work. I will make the final check list corrections and load the kids. I will pick Sue up at noon. We are trying to make the Syracuse area the first night. Keep checking us for updates.
